Retaining Slope Kalntera Thiras -Area Port Athinios (Santorini Island)

Budget : 1.699.400,00 € 

The aim of this project is to address rock falls and minimize the risk of accidents in the existing access road to the main port of Santorini island and the total slope of the amphitheater port Athinios. Τhis construction refers to a road that haw a total length of 3.352 m, built on the slopes of the caldera, that has steeply sloping terrain in the whole length and many maneuvers in order to link the port with the mainland which have large hypsometrically difference.
