The project concerns the continuation and completion of the restoration and upgrading of the Metropolitan Palace of the Holy Metropolis of Maroneia and Komotini, which is built within the Byzantine castle of Komotini.
The works that will be carried out are the remodelling of the facades and the exterior, the strengthening and restoration of the building’s load-bearing structures, the arrangement of the interiors and the construction of an extension to meet current needs, and the energy renovation of the building.
