The project will contribute substantially to the sanitary upgrading of the interiors of the buildings of the General Hospital of Drama and consequently to the optimization of the quality and maximization of the quantity of health services. The replacement of the old worn floors of all areas of the hospital with new modern PVC carpet, as well as the renewal of the interior walls‘ paintings, will contribute substantially to the reduction of inpatient infections, the reduction of medication use due to reduced infections, the safety and ease of access and movement especially for elderly and disabled patients, and the increase of staff efficiency, reducing the impact on the environment.
